FYI, you can just zip tie thru the lock tab and place shipping label right on the case for USPS / other shipper….

Use Pirateship to send the cheapest way possible still with your known carriers like USPS and UPS
No box needed just tape it up Duct tape over the delicate hinges!
Fellows--these cases have been going up and up and $$$
I called Plano several times--just got the run around --the highest up person I could get I offered to buy 100 Airglides at a pop and I was treated like they couldn't care less
At one point I said that it would be easy to have a china copy made--fact is it would be--I for one can't Wait until that happens

I bought two at Walmart years ago on clearance for $5 a piece. I think toward the end of their being made they were $50-60 new. No idea value used.

The one I bought about 5 years ago was $45. I’ve seen them on eBay for crazy money, don’t know if they sold. I’d like to pay around $100 to my door.

I did the same. I got a very responsive woman who said she would bring it up in one of their production meetings as I indicated the demand is there for a 1 time run at a higher retail price. I was very surprised when she got back to me a week later. It appears that they had an issue with one of the molds and the cost to replace negated running the product line further. She also checked several of their warehouses in hopes she could offer me a quantity purchases but there were none..

That is a GREAT answer from a production employee! Good for her going the extra mile for a good explanation.

I was buying a few at a time until it was mentioned that they would make no more. I bought all I could find, wound up with about 70 for the cost of a McMillan stock...

I have a couple left I'm holding onto but sold all the others filled with products.

Happenstance may get you one somewhere but unlikely at any reasonable price...

Great case; almost impossible to find now; and forget about a reasonable price unless you can pick one up at a pawn shop.

My experience here has been that not everyone is out to make money. I have had people send me items for free, wouldn’t even let me pay for the shipping. I try to return the favor when possible.

Last one I bought was on Amazon when they offered the credit card, It was like $40-$45 dollars with free shipping for applying for the card, but that was about 15 - 16 years ago. Ever since I haven't used the card.

Sure wish Plano would bring it back.
