The PDK is a 6.8 SPC necked down to .204 caliber. You can get 4000 fps with the 32 grain bullets. Brass is available but not common.

why not just use the 204 ruger, there aint know difference in velocity, both wish push the 4000 + mark.

this brings me to my next question on 'wildcatters', once someone desings a new caliber/cartridge and proves it, it would have to be justified by beating the competion in velocity, BC, barrel life, expense in reloading, equipment availabily etc...?

my gunsmith is building 20 pdk's and they will shatter 4000 fps!It will really move those 50gr bergers aswell.If you don't mind trading barrel life for velocity the pdk is the way to go. his website in new it is 1customgunsmith.com
