Forum Problem

UPDATE from Forum Boss:
The problem is the CHROME Browser. Changes to Chrome are blocking content.
We are working on a solution.

But the simplest solution is NOT USE CHROME.

Here are three other browsers:

Firefox: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
MS Edge: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge?
Opera: https://www.opera.com/

We recommend you stop using Chrome for a variety of reasons. You can still used gMail and other Google service, no problem.

Google's Chrome browser is also the most invasive of your privacy and it is becoming slower every month because of the tracking.

--------------------------------

I noticed this problem started yesterday. When I open this forum on my Galaxy S10 it cuts most of the page off. I have to scroll down to a blank screen and then scroll back up in order to see everything. Any one else have similar issues?

If I log out and clear the cookies and then log back in the problem goes away for about 1 min then starts back up again

I'm having the exact same problem and I don't use a phone. I had to borrow my wifes laptop to post this message. We both operate off the same router, she has windows 10 and I have windows 7. Thats the only difference.

We are viewing the Forum site right now on Windows 10. No Problem with Chrome, Firefox, or MS Edge. No problem with iPad, or Android or iPhone (but see below re WiFi vs Phone company). What browser are you using?

It also appears there may be an ad blocker running or a preference to "simplify view".

I also think you guys may just have a slow connection that is stalling half way through the page load.

I tried on an iPhone. Page filled fine on WiFi, but got the half page thing briefly on a Verizon connection.

It is possible that Google, or your internet carrier has just instituted new tracking which is slowing down the page load.

After I post close this it'll take me to the bottom of the

Experiencing same problem on my computer using Google Chrome. Problem started this morning(2/7). No problem if using Internet Explorer. Problem only on the forum. Using Windows 7.

Guys, I don't know what to say. We have made no changes to software or to servers or to security system. Most of the guys who had problems tracked it to old cache (temp internet files) on their phones

Ok, I just did a page load via a third party, Pingdom. Twice on East Coast, once on West Coast. Entire page loaded in 1.13 second average. That's actually really good for a Forum which is drawing tens of thousands of files from a database.

Here is the result from Pingdom. You see the thumbnail which shows page is displaying OK.

I suspect the issue is slow-downs with your Wireless carriers, or Chrome has changed its caching.

OK. I did just turned off a setting that was running a third-party ad footer part of the time. Let me know if that makes a difference.

I have checked my Galaxy phone and my wife's IPhone. no problem. Checked it using Google Chrome and Wife's Mac computer. Have no problem. Check your settings.
