Financial Impact of Injury
Unfortunately, this injury is severely reducing the time I can spend in front of a computer. That does impact my ability to solicit and create banner ads for sponsors. I expect this could have a significant negative effect on website revenue -- as much as $20-$30k this year.
For quite a few months, I will need in-home help twice a week to do basic tasks at $100-$200/day. Because of steps at the front of the house, I cannot get out of the house in my wheelchair. I am looking for a contractor now to build a ramp.

That foot picture made my bones hurt, I don’t know how that happened but that’s a serious injury. I’m glad you found a good surgeon and pray for your continued path to recovery.

How about EVERYONE who has not already donated or those who are not gold or silver to donate $5. I think everyone can afford $5. Probably waste that much multiple times a year. This would go to a good cause. Just think 69,000 members minus gold, silver and contributors = ? 55,000 or 60,000 maybe?
That’s $275k to $300k. I imagine that would go a long way to ease the boss’s burden.

I too want to donate. But does a site donation go directly towards helping our Forum Boss or has a Go Fund Me campaign been established?
Forum Boss: Donations go directly to my account which pays for the Forum costs.
There is no separate Go Fund Me campaign at this time. It might be wise to do that at some point.
