Prayers get wellTake it one day at a time. Don't be in a hurry. That's when you can re injure yourself.
Hey BossReport on face cancer is good. Cut is healing well. I had a Basal cell cancer about 0.6" in diameter removed by MOHS. Then plastic surgeon pulled forehead skin over the excision (looked like a 50 cal bullet hole!), and sewed it up. I was fortunate this surgeon was very, very good.
Comment: I recommend if you have a large MOHS surgery that you have it closed by a plastic surgeon if your medical plan allows, particularly it the surgery was near important muscles or tissues.
Foot Crush Report -- 9 fractured bones
Still hard to move around house except by wheelchair. To get into bathroom I have to use a scooter... but even with thick padding, the pain on upper leg is an 8-10. I have to be careful not to faint/slip while on scooter trying to get on toilet. I believe this high pain is because a bone graft section was taken from the upper tibia near the knee.
In-home care, out-of-pocket medical, deductibles, and rehab could exceed very high sums (many tens of thousands) in next 15 months.
Foot before second cast put on 7/3/23. All five metatarsals were broken and displaced laterally (one double break I believe). All three cuneiforms and the cuboid were broken, with one fractured into three pieces.

Will be in cast for many more months. No weight bearing for a LONG, long time. Full rehab 18 months.

Who did you mess with to deserve all that torture. ?
My wife worked in the medical profession 17 years, I have heard about some real screwups. She does not appreciate it when I say for the medical profession supposed to be highly professional they screw up more than anybody I have ever seen.
Get well soon Boss, we the children will behave.
I had the same size Basal Cell MOHS two years ago, on the ridge of a cheek bone below the temple. But my GP closed it up after the dermatologist finished and cauterized it, and seemed to be learning on the job. It turned out just ok, but next time I may spring for plastic surgery. I'm on trad. Medicare A/B, so don't know what's covered.Report on face cancer is good. Cut is healing well. I had a Basal cell cancer about 0.6" in diameter removed by MOHS. The upgrade I was thinking of was from nothing to something. It looks like a simple "Membership Upgrade" is the quickest an simplest way to provide Paul with an economic boost. The amount per member is a pittance, but in total would be substantial. jd
I worked in the medical profession doing direct patient care in a large Level 1 trauma hospital...you can't believe the stuff we saw. That's why they say , We practice medicine.
Same here Al. Amazing what we saw coming through ER. Retired from all that now.I worked in the medical profession doing direct patient care in a large Level 1 trauma hospital...you can't believe the stuff we saw.
Sometimes, the best even really talented Physicians can do is is just the best they can do. Not perfect...just the best they can do given the circumstances.
