* This is known as a Lisfranc injury, about as bad as it gets. Surgeon says 8 of 10 in terms of severity.

I've had this fracture myself. Recovery was long, probably about 5 months till I could walk normal. I still have two screws in my foot from it. Good luck!

Just saw this as I have been away for a few days.
God bless and I will pray for your fast recovery
Having been through a number of difficult surgeries myself allow me to say that you must keep ahead of the pain by following your Drs. Instructions regarding meds. Don’t be in a hurry to do stuff, especially at our age. Get well by being a good patient .

Completed the face MOHS surgery with closure in hospital today by plastic surgeon. It was a large cancer, size of a dime and extending down.

Go in Thursday for initial foot surgery on 6/29. Even if it is as successful as hoped I will be non-weight bearing for six months (require scooter or crutches). Splint redone today, and there is already atrophy in left calf muscles.
