Well, Fedex just delivered the gun today. And it's as pretty as the photos.

Here's a bonus. From front of the action, the barrel measures 29.2" inches with a plastic cap. With the flat metal buttplate, the gun fits perfectly in a Plano Airglide with about 3/4" to spare in the front. Rear fit is very nice. Overall length is just about 48 3/4". The Blue tape secures a black rubber cap placed over the muzzle during transport (cheap insurance).

Gun is pretty secure right now, but I plan to shave the sides of the front cradle a little, and file down a couple of the sidewall stiffeners that are a little close to the sides of the stock.

This may answer the questions of guys who ask "How big a gun can I get in an Airglide." With a low-profile stock like this, and flat buttplate, I'd say you can go to 49.5" OAL. With different stock designs, that might be shorter.

My f-class rig was about 90% put together with parts purchased from the good folks here on accurateshooter. I have no doubt this will be a superb rifle.
