Forster Products

:D
I have a 22-250 "Benchrest" seating die that I cannot get to thread all the way into my T-7 turret head. I tried cleaning it, lubing it etc. It wouldn't go. When I measured the die body, the major thread diameter is greater at the top end by 007" than the bottom of the die. This die is old enough that it is actually a "Bonanza" model. Using it in a Co-ax press is no problem as the collar will thread fine. I don't have a Co-ax press.

Anyway I emailed them about it. I got a call from the owner! He couldn't understand my problem. I called them back and explained it. They really wanted to see this die. I mailed it in and got a phone call today. They told me that it had a 'leade error' and the pitch changed over the length of the threads. They said that they would be glad to replace it but it was backordered 6 to 8 weeks. I told them that it was no problem, I would just wait.

Great customer service, very involved ownership and management. No wonder I like their stuff! I have had great luck with their micrometer seating dies which are 1/3 the price of Redding!

IMHO customer service like that is what seperates OK business's to very good business they all make mistakes it's how they take care of it that counts in my book

I love all my Forster stuff, I always look there 1st. One of the best thing there customer service does is hone their dies . If you have a FL sizer from them and you are only shooting mostly one bullet in that rifle just take a few measurements on a loaded neck go two to three thousands under send them the die with your spec for neck tension and the send you back shortly a custom die for only $12 bucks, the turn around is very fast.

My satisfaction with Forster is 100% positive. Great dies and other products, and staff that is friendly and professional. Barlow

Started used Forster products less than a year ago when I decided to go with a Co-Ax and kicking myself for not finding them 22 years ago when I started reloading

I love my Co-Ax and I don't think they make any inferior products. BUT,I go nuts by all the people that can't spell. ( Forestor ) Just another little peeve,Tom.

Dusty, that's like the advice I was given heading to P.I. boot camp. If you ever get bored and sleepy during a drill instructors lecture, just start counting the number of times he uses the F-word.
