Forster Co-Ax question

I don't have a problem using shims under the lock ring on my co ax. I refuse to use shell holders, that what drew me to the co ax. No shell holders.[/

You need to also look at how thick the rings are from one to the other some are a big deference that the ring is hitting back in fourth on the top and bottom of the grove .
I have heard this n I heard that but I think I'm staying with what is made for the press.
I just bought a Widden die set (new) one of there rings fit real good the other one is .017 thinner than the other .

I don't use shims and under the ring does nothing, if you would put them there. I set the die and i have no issues with the coax press, but the only thing i use it for is to size and it is right on the money and with the Harrell's die and run out is 0……. jim

So here is what I got from Forster.

Does the case tilt when the jaws engage the case? If so, please send the jaws in along with a couple sample cases, there is a lot of variance between case heads with different manufactures and it could be simply that the chamfer on the top portion of the jaws is not adequate for your specific case heads.

The case does tilt when the jaws engage. I was too busy looking at it when it entered the die and wasn't paying attention when the jaws closed. So I ll be sending them into forster to have it taken care of. Thanks for the help.
