Forster bump bushing dies

Does anyone have any experience with these? Run out after using them?

Thanks in advance
I have a 6.5x47 and I got forester bump die kit for it and just love them. I anneal every firing and I don't have to use lube on brass. they are on there 30 reload. run out you almost cant measure or less then half thousands.

Good quality dies... Run out would of course be relative as to the dies fit to your chamber and the amount you are sizing the neck in one step.

I have an assortment of them for various calibers that I utilize for determining final fired dimensions of cases that will later be F/L sized. (I use the nk/bb die 3x to size a case thats been fired 3x so as not to size the body and i can attain a definite chamber dimension #)

I have seen some factory chambers large enough that the neck size bump die will actually size a small amount of the shoulder body junction along with at the .200" line up from the base.

The Forster shoulder bump neck size bushing die is my "go to" die for all my .308 loads. Low run-out and every case chambers with ease, no matter how many firings.

Just keep the bushings clean and use a good lube on the neck. My bushings tend to leave vertical scratches if I get lazy and don't lube. Wish Forster made their dies with a TiN coating like Redding so I could forget the lube.

The Forster bushings will fit in a redding die but are too small a diameter and will flop around causing issues.. They are also taller than a redding.

I have both Forster and Redding bushing dies and I can attest that a Forster bushing in a Redding die will not just be loose, it will get lost. I guess that in a pinch one could put an o-ring around a Forster Bushing to keep it centered and then you'd really have a "Floating Bushing" o_O

I use both the Redding and the Forster, and dare I say that I think the Forster's just feel, "smoother". Seems I remember that with the Forster's, (with some vendors) you got some bushings with the die.

Kudos for spelling "Forster" correctly in the subject line. My rough research using the "search" feature indicates about twice as many misspellings "Forester" as the proper "Forster" on this forum. I wonder if they ever considered changing the name of the company?
