Forster .308 competition seating die

Well, I made some adjustment, seated the die for it hits the top of the ram and also readjusted the stem height.

I just loaded 35 Burger 155gr hybirds with little to no extra work. What I mean is once I set the die to my adjustment every bullet hit with only a +/-.001, a good workable tolerance in any ones book.

I still don't know what going on but it worked today

OH P.S.; I'm only seating these at .135 into the neck not the .3 like in the 185's maybe there is something there?

I use Forster benchrest seat dies for all bullets except for VLDs. I use the Redding micrometer VLD bullet seater for them. I find this arrangement works quite well.

I find the Redding Mic Seater to be close, but not entirely accurate in adjustments. I keep a comparator handy while I am seating presorted bullets and adjust to the case base to ogive measurement I want. After that, everything is perfect. The same procedure should work well with your Forester.
