Forester co-ax press linkage upgrade ?

I tried 4-6 months ago to reach him , tried all options with no success. I made my own, and do enjoy the extra clearence. Another company makes some somewhat similar.

Good luck

The linkage can be fabricated from .250 steel material, the travel stops can be machined and located, and the extra accessibility is great, especially for big monkey paws. If you have access to a lathe, not a problem. I cut the linkage arms out with a cut off wheel, and belt sander, and finished them with a good file. Just takes time to figure it all out. If you know of someone with CNC equipment makes it simple, once you have the pattern. You already have the pin to pin centers. 20230108_101608.jpg20230108_101549.jpg20230108_101520.jpg

I like these a lot. I was going to get the Inline Fab pieces but it didn't look like very much extra clearance would be gained.

Inline Fab works good, I run one original Forster straight and one Inline Fab curved, one curved on the left works for me, I pull right handed and move cases with the left. Plenty of clearance

I have the josh B ones. I've been super impressed. I've been used . He moved the stop to the back side. It has a little numb that's hidden. Heres two videos I've made that I talk about them in.

I just installed the Inline Fabrication , linkage on my Forester co-ax press , they are a perfect fit you just take one of the originals off one at a time and replace it . YES , there is more room to get my big old fingers in and no sharp edges any where , that's a big plus . Thank you Dan , great workmanship and a great product !
