Fore-end 3" Benchrest Adapter Options?

looking for ideas about putting a 3" benchrest adapter and attaching it via a sling stud. any ideas are appreciated (include links if possible). thanks in advance, Bryant

I have one of these and it works pretty darn good . It slides on the bags easily and not bad for the price. I really like it.

That Sinclair unit will adjust to the taper of your stock. It comes with screws to fit in the hole your sling stud screws into. I have been pleased with mine....

Mine adjusts to the side taper, but not the bottom taper. I have to put a wedge between it and the bottom of the stock to tilt the sled parallel to the bore, so that sliding the rifle fore and aft doesn't change elevation.

I screw goes into the sling stud hole.

Are those solid once they are attached- i always thought with only one small screw they would be a little wobbly but i never tried one.

Hoz, Mine is very solid. I put it on a HS Precision stock and really like the way it tracks in the bag. I bought a 3” bag for my rest and am very pleased. It’s a good remedy until you can get a benchrest stock plus it fits sporter stocks.

I have 2 of these on 2 of my-thinner front end bench guns.Only thing I would suggest is to make sure they are centered to your stock when installing.

I sold my annie because there was no way to get it to fit on anything. Just wasn't made for what I wanted to do. Darn good rifle. That money went toward a tool I could use.

I have the Sinclair one and use it on my Club Factory Class rifle when I am shooting HV Class. Instead of the sling swivel, I had a threaded female plug installed where my sling swivel would have been, which I think allows a more positive attachment with a threaded bolt rather than a wood screw. You can see it in the picture, but I had it installed shooting 1,000 Yard at Williamsport, which is what my avatar picture is.

Use my Sinclair adapter by drilling a hole in the adapter for the stud. I only use my AR when shooting on my on a bench.
