My son just bought one of these auto rifles and asked me to help him with the dis assembly. I read the manual that came with it, and frankly it is somewhat confusing. A search on the internet turned out to be futile so far. The U tube doesn't help much as I need to refer to written instructions as I go along. ( an old age thing, you understand) Can anyone help with a reference to a written instruction for dis assembly of this rifle? Thanks for the help!

Disassembly of the gas block is very part intensive. Ugh! I do not know of a written instruction for it. Its not hard, just full of parts. Way over engineered in my opinion. I know this doesn't help much. Have you tried the FN boards for info?

It's pretty similar to the BAR hunting rifles, and instructions for those should be available on the web, as well as in the Gun Digest rifle dis-assembly book by JB Wood I believe. I wouldn't recommend taking it apart any further than necessary just to clean the inside crud out though. Also, be careful when tightening screws into the Aluminum so as not to strip the threads.
