Flatline Bullet Question

I have 50 6.5 Flatlines to play with. They'll be loaded in a Creedmoor or SAUM. I use Whidden Micrometer seater for both. Will I need a different stem to seat these without damage?

Probably. I had to get a new VLD type stem for most of my Whidden dies shooting Bergers. You can easily remove the stem and see if the bullets bottom out. If you need one, give Whidden a call. They sent me one a while ago at N/C.

What twist rate will you be shooting them with, a new barrel custom-ordered for them or something you've got a history with conventional bullets in?

8 twist. 2 choices, new 6.5 SAUM or 6.5 Creedmoor with 1100 rounds on it.

Should work then; 8's what they recommend.

Too, they offer to modify seating stems for these though I'm confident John W.'s fully capable (you might want to sent him one bullet with your stem, just in case).
