ANSWERED - 6.5 Creed Wilson seater die question

Thinking about buying a Wilson seater die for 6.5 Creedmoor and using a 6mm stem to seat bullets in a 6 Creedmoor case.
I'm new at using an arbor press and inline dies. I'm hoping someone here has insight or experience with this.

Let me know...thank you

Geraldgee, I have seated 6 Creedmoor bullets with my 6.5 Creed Wilson die and, as pointed out, it 'mostly' does not work well. I'll explain: I was getting great variation in seating depths....3-6 thousandths variation in one cartridge to the next. I think the issue is having the neck unsupported. I had my gunsmith ream a Wilson blank for a 6mm stem. With the 6.5 die I could tweak each round carefully to get them all the same seating depth but that process is time consuming and useless for more than a dozen or so test rounds at a time.

Thank you for the explanation and work -around. It make good sense. I am in the component gathering stage of a 6 creed build. I still have plenty of time to get a blank.

The reamer I plan to use is a no-turn reamer with .003 clearance. Is that much clearance a concern for a seater die?

Thanks again.

Update - I sent Wilson's and email this afternoon. They just started to produce their seater die in 6mm Creedmoor. I will call and order one tomorrow. Thank you Richard and rardoin.
