fix for wilson die ?

The Wilson dies I have for my dasher, 6br, and 30br only size about 3/16" of the neck. That puts the pressure ring of the bullet below sized portion of the neck on a loaded round. Is there a fix for this out there?

hepburn45110.....Get a hold of Wilson.......they will modify your dies to size further down the neck,if that's what you want to do. BTW,I LOVE my C.Sharp's Arms 45-110. Good luck.

Heppy the dies are desighned to work that way(even type S also)....the idea is that the un-sized portion of the neck cneters the ctg case in the chamber and helps with bullet alighnment ,and if your case nk dims and chamber clearance are in concert the donut (if one should form) is a non factor and you can push the bullet past it if you so desire......just some of my antique ramblins...Roger

It crossed my mind to contact Wilson. I also had thought of boring the bushing recess a deeper myself. The dasher die is close to what I'm looking for. The br dies are the problem. If I could go down another .060 of the neck it would keep the pressure ring within the sized part of the case and still leave an unsized portion near the shoulder to center the round.

I'm down with the 45/110. I use a 540gr bullet. It is a little harsh on the back end but got to pay to play.
