First 6BR Build

I am getting ready to build my first 6BR. I would like it set up to be a repeater to be the twin to my 6.5x47.

I want to stay with the Surgeon action and bottom metal. From what research I have done it seems like there may be some feeding problems with this set up. I was told it can be done with Remington bottom metal. Has anyone dealt with these feeding problems? Sugestions/recomendations on this caliber build? Best bottom metal that will work

You also can look up some of the videos on here and it shows Eliseo shooting a 6br in repeater.

A buddy of mine has a 6br repeater on a Surgeon action. He went with the Eliseo stock and hasn't had any feeding problems. Brian Brown.

I have 2 22BRs that feed nicely from modified AI magazines. I have tried the Remington modifcations and found them to be unreliable. I have been able to make the BR rounds feed with both the 308 and 223 AI magazines but it does take a new follower spacer and spring.

Eliseo's kits were designed to feed a 6br. If you dont mind a tube gun it'll save you all the tinkering in the world... Couldnt be happier with mine.
