Firing pin bush

That's an easy one. Send it to GreTan with $42 and he'll send it back in a couple days. If you want to do yourself. Bore the old hole out, thread it, lock tight a threaded stud in, set up the bolt, drill out to .062 or .068, turn down the pin nose to fit. Face the bolt face.

Guy,

One of these days I'll get my 40X to the range again and let ya know...

Cost was $57.50 - $50 plus return shipping. There and back in just over a week.

Guy - it is more for pressure handling...and I don't have any done yet. Other benefits are just icing. Greg will also be swapping out the snaking Rem FP spring with a light pin and straight spring while it is there.

Had it done on my RFD action to the smaller size pin. I was cratering primers. Now that it's done I have no more cratered primers and now gas out the primer pocket. Works great.

I was blanking primers on mederate loads in my 22 BR. Had the pin bushed and it went away and I could load to the higher accuracy node with out primer problems.

Gre-Tan did my 6br Remington bolt that was blanking primers. 57.50 and less than a week turn around. Works great and would do it again.

Go ahead and get the light steel firing pin while you're at it. Faster lock time and less mass to disturb the rifle. The difference is easy to feel, you don't need any tools to measure it.
