It’s more than just the decreasing case length as a result from necking up; brass obviously will be displaced to fill out the body and the shoulder, it’s basically a .075 taller 6.5 PPC and material has to come from somewhere other than the case head.......”shorten a little“ will be relative.Case length for both is listed at 1.52. It will shorten a little when necking up, but should not be an issue.
Right, compared to 6ppc the shoulder is moved forward more. That should not stretch brass anymore than fire-forming to 6ppc.
