6.5 Grendel information wanted

Hi can anybody give me any info on the 6.5 Grendel barrel length
twist etc for shooting 300-1000 y
Your advice would be most appreciated.

26' long,any longer of a barrel won't help with velocity) & 1:9' twist for a 6.5 Grendel. For 300 - 1000 yards I would run the Lapua 123 gr bullets,at least that's what I use) as the cartridge just seems to labor with bullets heavier than the 120-123 gr bullets.

You didn't ask but, If you have a Grendel boltface gun, I would look at Robert's 6mmAR for target work. Just something to know about.

MIKE, I AGREE WITH YOU ON THAT. I HAVE BOTH THE 6.5 GRENDEL AND ROBERT'S 6AR. BOTH SHOOT REALLY GOOD BUT I THINK THE 6AR WOULD PROBABLY WHIP THE GRENDEL'S BUTT. MY NEXT AR UPPER WILL BE ROBERT'S 6AR 40 TURBO. SOON TO BE ORDERED. ALREADY HAVE A QUOTE. HIS KNOWLEDGE AND SERVICE IS SECOND TO NONE. BILL
