By the numbers Jim:

Roughly 4.5 million NRA members.

60 million households in the U.S. owning guns.

That certainly doesn't reflect a very good percentage of NRA members. If Paul were to enact a mandatory NRA membership on this site, we would probably realize a couple of thousand site members remaining.

JRS, no disrespect meant to you. Your figures show the tale. If the site had fewer members, but more income (in the form of a minimal $ subscription), the owners win and some of the BS goes away (strictly a percentage thing). Not saying the BS only comes from the non NRA forum members. I do not know the number of forum members that financially support this site, but I will bet that it is extremely low.

JRS, I possibly chose the wrong word, with "tale" I meant to mean "the story" or facts, my apology for the poor choice of words. As to the sponsor monies, I do not know what it is in the current times. Years ago it was counted on page views. The non supporters would still view the pages, as the information is what is wanted. If sponsorship is only by members, then you are correct.
