Firearm friendly hotel chain?

Can't say I have any info - other than to say I book a motel single story - not a hotel - back the truck up to a corner unit.
dozens of times. load guns in, clean em , even tumble brass... leave it clean, open a window. respectfully. of course, I clean guns in the field usually. no need to brjng in.

Take the patches out to the garbage ASAP , so it is good to go. year after year...same place.
I can't imagine there is ANY chain that advocates bringing firearms into a room, on the record; upon your declaration.

a gray area. glad to hear what you learn...

Well, in your neck of the woods, we stay a few times a year at the Village Inn in Challis. They definitely don't care and even ask you not to use their bath towels to clean firearms!

Jerry, We have been traveling all over creation for matches, and have never had any issue at hotel, motels. Often at national matches there are a bunch of guys staying at the match and all over town. I think it might be a regional issue. If you're staying in Sidney NE and don't have a firearm, you're the weird one. Might be different in other cities. I have never actually asked about it, just get my room key and roll. You could put a Gibson or Fender sticker on your case too ;)

Update: I stayed at a bit of a dump in Coalinga because I'd already made reservations before I figured out there is a best western there. Others said the best western was a bit pricey for the area but good. The place I stayed was Royal Maui Inn. Room was clean enough for an outdoorsman. Battery in the smoke detector was beeping when I checked in so the proprietress just removed it--not too worried about laws or fire codes. Very noisy in the evening because she doesn't seem to be enforcing any occupancy limits so about 1/2 the rooms have a large number of migrant workers sleeping in them and they spend the evenings socializing outside the room but they go to bed early. If you decide to stay there, ask for a total price. She added 30% "hotel tax" which I should have challenged so be prepared for that if you decide to stay there.

RV at the range seemed like a good way to go.

In Pebble I stayed at the AIR BnB that I mentioned earlier. I was able to ask her in advance through the App if she was OK with firearms and she was so I could carry them in without wondering if there was going to be a problem.

I was inside 17 mile drive and a mile from Pebble and a mile from Poppy Hills. If you've been to Pebble Beach you probably realize you either need to spend $300+/night to stay at one of the big lodges, $300+/night to stay in Carmel, or you'll be 30 minutes away in the outskirts of Monterrey. So for about $100/night including fees etc I had a nice room in a perfect location. I was staying with a lady in her 40's and her daughter who I hardly saw. I did feel a little uncomfortable at times in a stranger's home but that is probably just me. Turned out great. No problems at all with the firearms and gear.

I've often wondered about this as an alternative to hotels/motels and B&Bs. I'm not advocating for purchasing an RV at all especially since I usually shoot just weekend matches. But the thought has crossed my mind about using something such as a Ram ProMaster or Ford Transit.

With the back of the van empty except for the frame it's possible to finish out the inside with a fold down bunk and a reloading bench on the opposite side. Maybe a metal lockable cabinet in the front for firearms storage. No it doesn't have a shower or toilet facilities which is a drawback in my opinion but like a turtle, your home and reloading bench goes where you need it to go for short stays. Thoughts?

Thanks!

I have more trouble getting a dog into a motel than a rifle in a case

Always a pet fee never a gun fee.
Place in Missula we stayed gave me directions to the range
