Finally !

I finally achieved one of my goals yesterday. I shot a sub MOA , ten shot , 200 yd group with my CZ 457 MTR, using RWS -R50 Ammo. I also shot two sub MOA 100 yd groups. I think that having almost no wind to deal with was the deciding factor. No matter, it still felt good to check this off my bucket list.

This longer range .22 pastime is kinda addictive. There a handful of us older guys who are eating it up. It seems that almost each time we’re at the range and someone new shows up, they come over and ask lots of questions. They appear fascinated at the 200yd. Shooting.

Tip of the hat to you. That takes a lot of concentration, especially that last round of the second group.
I”ll be the first to admit that I felt very lucky at keeping my composure. The fact that any wind was almost non existent was another bit of great luck. I hope there’s a repeat with pics to share.

My mtr also really likes rws r50.

Great shooting

Hey Stitch... You shooting Rimersburg? I can't seem to find their schedule or what matches they have for .22

Petey, haven’t seen a schedule yet. The rangemaster winters out west. I haven’t seen him at a meeting so far. The matches have usually been on Saturday evening at 6 PM. When I find out any information I’ll relay it to you.

I’ve been trying to duplicate that magic day again. I haven’t even come close. Today the best 200 yd. group I could produce was just at 4 inches. It’s frustrating!

What's the vertical and horizontal measurements? Just wondering if the horizontal is what's driving the group size.
