Filler in reduced loads

Would appreciate some opinions re: fillers in reduced loads, pufflon, cream of wheat, etc. Plan to load down a 22-250 and .308 to 1800-2000 fps. Could use either hard cast or jacketed bullets. I have heard both sides of the argument but would like some input from members with experience.
Thanks

Instead of using a filler you might look into using some Trailboss,it will fill the case up enough to not need fillers.

Hodgdon has reduced loads for both 22-250 and 308 on their website. They list a load of 13.0grains for a 55g bullet for 1984fps. That 13g will fill a 22/250 case up pretty full. The 308 may not get you the velocity with Trailboss you want at 14g with a 150 it looks like about 1400fps. They do have reduced loads for 4895 as well.
I have used Trailboss with 175hpbt's for some sub sonic loads and it worked out well.

I've had great success with plain 'ol butt wipe. Adjust the amount to suit.

I've used it from fireforming to shooting cast bullets in a 416 Rem mag.

as mentioned trailboss is a good option but if filler is wanted Kapok is a very good all natural filler that will not build up and burns off quickly and cleanly. it can be difficult to find in small quantity's as it isn't used like it once was for fillers.
call the boys at Sierra they can explain it at better than i can and why to stay away from some of the man made fillers.

Will try Trailboss and some of the faster powders with Kapok (found on ebay). Thanks to all
