Figuring out Optimal Charge Weight

Green, you know the drill. I would add that the 308 node you picket is way too narrow to warrant further exploration. Presume if a wider one, say .6 grain or better, you would take that as a recommendation to switch powder, etc
Edit: say .6 grain width or better Is Not Found

I agree on the top picking group #3 regarding the POI shift. Although I notice the POI shift remained the same from group #4 to the last. This could have been a shift in the optic's zero point or a slight change in shooting position without perfect parallax adjustment. I would still choose group #3 to be safe. Definitely recommend running top groups #3 and #4 again to be sure the POI shift is consistent.

The bottom row POI remains constant, but I don't see a safe node in accuracy anywhere. Being that POI is very consistent, some adjustments to the seating depth might produce a very good accuracy node while maintaining excellent POI consistency.

I am not sure exactly which node you are referring to, I did pick loads #5 & #6 in 308. What I would do is go back and begin with 43.3 and do 0.2 grain increments all the way to 44.4 to find the actual edges of the node. Group #7 actually has the same POI as #'s 5 & 6. Though it appears it is starting to scatter. But yes, I would concur that a node with this combination should be at least 0.5 grains wide. If it was not, then I also would say this combo is sub-optimal.

I am pretty impressed with the POI consistency of the bottom row also. That combo is gonna shoot.

I think you have the .308 nailed.

On the 6.5 cm, 42.2 appears to be a scatter node. Based on that, you would expect a good node at 41. I would retest from 40.7 to 41.3 and see if they shoot together.
