Few more from last 2 nights.

From 2 different ranches.
MMR AR15, .223 55g vmax handload in front of blc2.
1st was from last night, waited for daylight to find it though. 36lb blond male, 135 yards

2nd was a 35lb male on bottom and 25 min later a female, both coming up a gully I just sit over and wait as its pretty much a hi-way. I had a skunk show up, but was not going to pop that smelly ballon.

3rd was a 37lb male trying to slink around me trying to decide what to do.

4th was a female trying to give me the pass by.

I'll bet the skunk would have been fun to shoot. Around here they're called pole cats for some reason. They come in a variety of color phases and are about the most arrogant animal I've ever seen.

Our yoties are LARGE and I just might start trying to call them. I would rather shoot one than a deer.

Nice work 5! I made the mistake of yolking a pole kitty while foxing one morning. Wife made me leave my clothes outside...

Shooting a field kitty is a stinky proposition.
I once stepped off a porch in the city on a noise complaint, only to nearly step on one that was exiting the porch. He spun and lifted, I reversed field and bailed hard left. My partner behind me got it square. Thank goodness we did not share a car!
