Feel good stories

I love it. I would gladly step aside in a scenario like this one. I wonder how many thirty somethings with no clue of patriotism would have objected had they known.

So he's 95 and still driving? Sounds like publicity to me.

The founder of the first trucking company I wrenched for would drive thru once a week. That was almost 11 years ago. I don't know if he's still driving, he turns 109 in a couple days (as far as I know he's still alive, it'd made the news if/when he passes).

My apologies if this does not qualify, but I feel it does because its a sign of normalcy and will let more get back to doing things they like and get peoples minds of everything negative.

Primers, ammo, bullets, powder!!! All in stock on the shelf at a large local sporting goods store. A dozen powders or more in stock, large and small federal match primers, shotshell primers for $60-70 per thousand. Ammo was hit and miss for calibers amd loads but much, much better than just a few weeks ago. And people were NOT taking it off the shelves as fast as they could, everyone was just browsing and a few people took a couple boxes each of slugs off a packed shelf. It was beautiful!

If you've got something to smile about, share it here...

I'll start...

Was at a rifle match in Quantico, VA. Overheard a competitor mention how happy his wife was going to be upon hearing his 200 yard rapid fire aggregate score he’d just shot. He was serious. Had the score he mentioned been my score, I’d’ve been hanging my head in shame. In that moment I felt as much pride for him as I’ve ever felt about any shooting feat of my own. He mentioned he’d been trying for decades to achieve that benchmark. It’s shooters like him who inspire me the most, by far.
