Regarding the story on the bulletin board today....At what point did anyone think the system, that is in place in order to download apps for your phone, was not setup for the entity in power to invade your privacy and determine if you are a threat or not. If you take a deep dive look at how one can't permanently delete any information you have entered on one of these gun related forums.

At this point,.... However, these types of statements can often be written by PR firms or lawyers. After some "Persuasion" the data will be released. Microsoft went through this with the US government. In the End the government got what they wanted. A backdoor into Windows OS.
Anyway, just something to consider.

You are CORRECT. Government cannot demand, to get started they would first have to have a warrant showing just cause, good luck in the courts with that.

The point being since 9/11 any of a number of “keywords” posted on internet forums, messaging services, etc, can get instantly picked up, looked at, including the who, where, what, when, of who posted it by any number of federal agencies.
The simple truth is “ don’t put stupid shit on the internet......ever.
