Bar 3 range in Laurel, MS has a 1000 yd match on the second Saturday of the month and a 600 yd match on the fourth Saturday. Covered firing lines and electronic targets.

Bar 3 in Laurel, MS is a very nice facility and Wynne at Reese Bottom is a most gracious host.
Be aware there is no hotel near Linden.

If you're up for a drive there's 1,000 and 600 yard F-class matches in Tullahoma, TN - http://www.midsouthmarksmen.com.
I'm in north Alabama and it's only about 60 miles from my house. Electronic targets for NRA approved matches and we pull paper targets for registered matches, such as Alabama and Tennessee state F-class long range championships and Regional 600 yard matches. Next approved match is 1,000 yards and its August 18th. The state championships are Labor day weekend. Come on up, love to have more shooters from Alabama.

The one at the CMP in Talladega is usually the 2nd Sat of the month, start time is 1100. Match fee is only $10 at the CMP counter.
