Favorite powder for .17rem, 30gr bullets??

Hello,
I use N540 powder for the 30gr bullets in the 17rem. Great accuracy and consistent velocity.

I just think it's a little harder on barrel life with the throat erosion then some other powders might be. Of course, any thing going down a .172" bore while on fire is not going to be good for long life.

Just curious, what powder do you have the best luck with 30gr bullets?

Varminteer--I still use N-540 for my tight-neck .17 Remington when I reload for the 30 gr. Nagel T-000 bullets. However, I tested IMR 8208 XBR with the 30 gr. FB HP Starke bullets in another .17 Remington I have and that worked great!!!

I've used H380, WW 760, and R-15 with the 30gr Kindler golds. All 3 have worked well in my 17 Rem. WD
