favorite hydro press?

because the handle was longer

The handle on the K&M is pretty easily replaceable... there is literally a thumbscrew on the side.

Still, it all comes down to 'feel' and personal preference. I'm sure either one will work just fine.

Not trying to be a smart a--, but how do they shoot? To me, that's the bottom line.[/QUOTE

It seems to be shooting pretty well. I think there is room for improvement though. It is consistently 1/2 moa. I've gotten many groups around 1/4 moa. However, I cannot consistently get those kind of groups. I'm no pro rifle shooter so it could just as easily be me. The barrel on this rifle is a Bartlein 3b. It was chambered with a standard reamer from PTG(.167 freebore, .295 neck). I do have two new barrels I want to try. One's another Bartlein just like the one on the gun. The other is a Brux in the same contour. I also now have a Henrikson tight neck reamer(.291) to try. Some have told me they thought the tighter neck might help accuracy.

never having using an arbor style press, or a hydro seater/measuring system was curious to hear feedback from those whom have

looking at the KM and 21st Century setups with Lee dies.

How would Lee dies work with either of these?

I have to ask if they make a conversion for tension like atmospheric pressure from MB to PSI.

Millibar to inch of mercury (mbar to inHg) Pressure conversion table

The first scale I made for deterring bullet seating effort measured in pounds started with a scale, same for pulling bullets. I have always wanted all the bullet hold I could get, other reloaders use tension. I have tension gages, problem, all of my tension gages measure in pounds with no way to convert.

I re-calibrated my K&M to tensions. Reloaders do not know how to do this but then there's ham sandwiches.

I have said I have tension gages, I have said all of my tensions gages have scales that read pounds, I also said I have deflection gages, same thing, my deflection gages measure deflection and are calibrated to pounds. And then I have a strain gage, if I decide to measure deflection of a press and want to know the strain in pounds I use two gages. One more time, there is no conversion for tensions to bullet hold in pounds. I know, it sounds cool when a reloader throws in a neck tension here and there, they are conditioned to talk that way but have no clue as to what they are talking about.
