I also ran out of a jar of Pro-Gold, after that I just started using an EP lithium grease from my work.Seems to work fine.

Warren, how does that stuff work? I'm guessing you only use it on stainless actions?

Works great. And you are correct...it is an anti-seize for stainless steel. I work in copper mining and all of our metal piping and fittings are stainless. This stuff keeps the threads from seizing, so I tried it on my rifles.

But it is MESSY!!! I only use it on the lugs and it still gets all over the place. :)

I hear you on the messy part. I've got blue stains on all my work clothes from this crap. Which is the only reason I'm hesitant to throw it in an action. I'll end up looking like a smurf after an hour at the range.

LOL :)

White lithium works in high pressure areas of draglines and is not too messy. Sold in parts stores in 6-8 oz tubes for homeys.
Easy transfer to syringe. LT

Look into Brownell's Action Lube Plus. It comes in a small jar or in the syringe. From 700 bolts to AR's to Glocks it is the real deal.
