Favorite 6br reloading dies?

I use a honed Forster FL sizing die and a Wilson seater. I have a set of Redding competition Dies but I haven’t used them in a long time. I enjoy the feel of the arbor press after the brass has been sized with a couple thousandths on the neck. You get so much more info out of the stroke of an arbor press compared to my rockchucker. It therapy for me.

What I use is the standard Wilson die with the Sinclair micrometer top, and you can
change that top to another Wilson seating die if the need arises

Harrell's or neck-honed Forster for sizing. Wilson for seating. Hammock for relaxing. [Or did you mean reloading?]
IMO...nailed that Toby Bradshaw. I have a Forster honed but using their seater as well. However, I am building a BRX next and likely going with what you mentioned. My gunsmith harps about honing and lack of neck tension. That's where I doze off, so don't know what he said after that. Wilson, real quality.

Is the Wilson micrometer seater worth $70 over the non micrometer seater?

Not to me. I use Skip's die shims.

What do you guys with the honed dies do on the days you need to change neck tension- get another die on your next box of brass?

Apparently some people do just that.

I use the Forster honed neck die on my 22BR coyote rifle, with a neck dimension that will provide enough bullet grip even when the necks have work hardened. In this application tweaking neck tension to produce smaller groups isn't necessary.

My new baby! Can't wait to get it!

Now new dilemma. I have a n rcbs summit press. They make adapters for $23 to turn my press into an arbor press. Do I do that or buy a dedicated arbor? I can see advantages to both.

What do you think of the whidden dies?

I use the full length sizing bushing die and seater. Both work well for me. The seater is similar to a Forster in size and the micrometer marking are very easy to read compared to something like a Redding Competition die, which is what I use with all my pistol calibers. The lock rings also fit very well in the Forster Co-Ax press I use for rifles. I don't compete.....except with myself, so the Whidden dies are fine for my purposes.

I also use their cases gauges too. Very easy to see just how much setback you are getting from the die settings using these gauges.
