Favorite 6 BR bullet for Coyotes

I have a 1-8 twist Brux #4 contour sporter that I am using, so it should handle most bullets. What is your favorite bullet and powder for coyotes. Hopefully semi fur friendly too.

Easy....87 grain v-max with varget powder...not fur friendly though...LOL...

I agree with the 87grn V-Max, another great bullet is the fur friendly Sierra 80grn Biltz Varminter #1515.

H335, H322, lt 32, use 7 1/2 primers

With coyotes, you need all the flat shooting you can get so that you do not unzip them.

Sierra 85 grain HPBT Game King. One of the most versatile 6mm bullets in the known universe.

I’ve always used H4350 and H414.

I've killed a ton of coyotes with a 70 grain Blitzking. Fur friendly when hit in the right spot. Drops them dead if you don't.

I know they don’t make em anymore but the Hornady 105 gr amax with Varget or RL 15. Maybe not so fur friendly though.

My favorite for windy or long shots (>550 yds) is the 87gr v-max. The 75gr v-max is also a great one for this but it's BC is just a bit behind. Both are fairly accurate.

The one that is really easy on pelts and amazing out to 400 yards is the Speer 70gr TNT. They are very affordable as well. I was also really surprised how accurate they were.

I usually shoot them with a 6BR suppressed, but if I'm feeling froggy or want time on a different rifle, the 6x47 comes out, just to give you an idea for muzzle velocities.

Another vote for the 87 V-max. An amazing bullet for coyotes. Fur friendly if you place the shot correctly. Possibility of a bomb if you do not !
