When we lived in WY my wife shot a lot of mulies with her 243 using the 100gr Sierra GameKing, dropped like rocks.

Sierra 85 gr HPBT has been my go to bullet for years. many deer at 400 + yds. and out of a 243 super rock chucker a lot of P dogs at over 1200 yds.

That is kind of a hypothetical question with a lot of variables to take in to consideration. : So of the 4 that I can remember of that were 100yds and closer that I got with my 243, 3 exited and one did not. WD
