Farley type rest

I'm interested in a rest that has the joystick on it like a Farley. What's out there thats similer for reasonable $$.

What will it be used for? There are a number of coaxials available, only one of which is cheap. That's a Caldwell. I haven't used or even seen one up close, but I've seen the other stuff they make and wouldn't be caught dead shooting competitively with any of it. If you are looking for a rest for informal shooting, than I don't think a coax is nessecary anyway. Matter of fact, in short range BR, I think they are real aid in score shooting, but just a luxury for group shooting. If you have a Sinclair, Hart, Bald Eagle or other standard type rest already, a Butch Lambert Co-Axial top can be added to it for around $400. Farley makes a similar unit, but Farley time is more than I wish to deal with. Sebastian Lambang makes a very nice rest similar to the Farley, as do others, but they are in the same price range.

If you buy a used joystick, you can send it to me and can go through it. You can try working an inspection with the seller. That way you know what you are buying. I make parts as well as service rests. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

The Caldwell is a complete piece of garbage. Don’t waste your money on that one. Buy better than that.

Magnum metals use to make a toggle test. Not sure if they still do or not.

Well there’s only 4 brands to choose from, 5 if you count Farley which is out of business.. Budget is definitely a concern with prices ranging from about $400 for a Shade Tree which will need a base. A used Farley which generally run $700-$1k. 2 models of Seb for about $1k to just under $2k and Rodzilla and Lenzi which are both are over $2k.
