Farley rest

Interested in buying a Farley rest. Is bullet central the only place that sales them or Is there other dealers. Also anyone that might have one if you could give me some pros and cons it would be great thanks.

Good luck getting it. I ordered one from them last year and received a box of parts. Called them and was told they were having problems with Farley leaving parts out. I asked them if you know there are issues with a vendor why would you ship product to customer without inspection first. It shouldn't be up to the customer to fight to get what they pay for. Two more phone calls and finally shipped it back. I wrote a review on there website and it was never posted. I still have a bad taste for the way I was treated for there deficiency.

Thanks for the info. From what I hear getting a new one is gonna happen. Might just keep my eye out for a good used one or consider something else.

Personally I’d wait for a nice used Seb Neo. They’re a little nicer in every way. And with Farley’s notoriously terrible service and lack of support there is just no reason to buy a new Farley over Seb. Coming from someone who owns both a Farley and a Seb.

A Farley tuned by Alan is a really fantastic rest.
I have a NEO, MAX, and JJ, and had a mini (sold it) the other three will be sold as the tuned farley is just that good.
Having said that, the MAX is the best of the lot. I would keep it if I had good way of quickly swapping from 3" to 4" wide bags.

I’m sure Alan’s work is great but after getting your Seb you don’t need to turn around and send it off to be tuned..

I’ve shot a lot from both a Farley as well as a SEB. I prefer the dual post design on the SEB as well as the greater elevation travel it provides. IMO, the SEB is a more stable platform to shoot from as compared to the single post design on the Farley, especially at an uphill range that forces me to have the rest top setting at an upper extreme close to the stop. Too much cantilever for my taste. That issue does not exist on the SEB. That always bothered me and my scores showed it. I've also run myself out of vertical adjustment on the Farley.

I made it sound like a Farley sucks, but really it doesn't. They are good. I enjoyed many good days with that rest. It was just one of those things where once I really picked it over and shot from it for a few seasons, I realized there was a better solution for my shooting. My Farley was tuned and had a counterweight system on it much like a SEB NEO Ratigan. It was smooth, but never SEB smooth.

Farley II is a great choice. Buying a used one would be the way to go.

The "mob" has shifted for now.
It's like watching those millions of black birds going from one place to the other !

@majohnson is the go to guy for upgrades on Farley's
Any idea where a guy might find one

Im not sure what others look for but when it comes to a joy stick rest I want one I can make tiny adjustments without overshooting my aim point. Still really like my farley. Take them apart polish the 2 rods and replace all the grease with moly-graph. The new style tensioners from farley are the best. Thats all you need to do

I won a rest from their anniversary giveaway. Never received the rest. Numerous emails and phone calls with no results. The only anniversary rest that was actually delivered was to a gentleman that had to hire an attorney in order to receive his rest. Dishonest company for sure. Buyers beware.

You really need to get your hands on a new Raptor or the Neo X. I agree that with a few mods that the Farley is as good or maybe better than the std neo or max...but these new rests are a different level
