Farley billet box top- is it possible to install on a caldwell fire control?

Ive had a good look at this one- and there is potential for it to fix one of the problems with the fire control- the poor top on it. Has anyone attempted it or is someone able to advise if they have done it successfully?

Fixing by putting a $ 400 top on a $ 200 rest?......and you will still have the inherent Fire Control design problem of trying to minimize slop and maintaining a consistent amount of resistance for smooth operation while the internal parts wear prematurely due to the use of inferior materials.

The fire control has 3 problems I feel.

1. The top- downright shocking. But good news is the billet box top is about half the price of the whole rest here.
2. The internals- have worked on these already and they arent bad. Good enough to persevere with while saving for a SEB or Farley.
3. The base- a pain to carry and looks ugly as sin.

And I have been in discussion with a farley dealer- I believe the billet box will fix issue number 1.
