I am contemplating writing a book about the .220 Swift. This cartridge has always been one of my favorites and just because it has been around since the mid 30's, doesn't, in my opinion, detract from the fact that it's still "King of the .22 Centerfires."
I would like input for my book from fans of the Swift that describes mostly positive experiences you have had with this cartridge. I would model the book after the one written back in 1951 by C. S. Landis titled "Woodchucks and Woodchuck Rifles," in which he includes input from a number of other varmint shooters.
I am the author of two recently published books: "Cartridge Reloading in the Twenty-First Century" and "Varming Rifles and Cartridges." If you are interested in contributing to this effort and would like more information about my plans for this book, please contact me by email at:
