So when you receive the action you have to yell, “WHATS IN THE BOX!?” before you open it. LolIt’s 7even, like the movie
Not 7.3 or 7&1/2 its seven even. It’s 7even, like the movie
FWIW: I think there are some nuances with the fit of the action to some chassis systems, so you may want to research that before buying.
I rename every thumb drive that is handed to me “P3N15”. Is that the same thing as naming an action seven even? It’s pronounced “Seven” spelled with a “7” at the beginning instead of a “S”. Not “Seven Even”.
Definitely not a wise choice for a name because it is confusing. Named by AR loving ‘Tacticool’ guys at Falkor who like the movie “7even” which is about crimes with the 7 deadly sins.
I think that’s how Elon Musk names his children as well. LOL!I rename every thumb drive that is handed to me “P3N15”. Is that the same thing as naming an action seven even?
In other words, one that will need work to be good. I remember having Dwight Scott adding weight to my steel firing pin.Falkor is local to us here in Kalispell, Montana. They are originally an AR style rifle manufacturer and in recent years have been trying to break into the bolt action world. I know some of the guys involved in their design process. They’ve studied the best actions and copied most of the good features.
In talking with them, I don’t believe they fully understand everything on the finer details of ignition and timing but they are working hard to get it right. I have handled a couple and they are pretty dang nice but in reality they are just another 416ss receiver to add on the growing pile of manufacturers out there. Nothing really sets them apart from the pack of affordable custom receivers.
That all being said, I wouldn’t hesitate to try one. Falkor 7even actions are not going to be as nice as a BAT HR but they aren’t priced that high either. Basically gonna be similar in quality to a Defiance Deviant
Yeah but I personally believe all hunting or tactical style actions need some work to compare with the BAT HR.In other words, one that will need work to be good. I remember having Dwight Scott adding weight to my steel firing pin.
Bat’s are very hard to come by in Canada. Hoping to lock down a new dealer for them at shotshow and if it happens then I’ll be doing a vampire hunting build.Yeah but I personally believe all hunting or tactical style actions need some work to compare with the BAT HR.
Bullet central is an exporter to europe and africa. Maybe they can export to canada with their license?Bat’s are very hard to come by in Canada. Hoping to lock down a new dealer for them at shotshow and if it happens then I’ll be doing a vampire hunting build.
Probably not if that Communist Trudeau has anything to do with it.Bullet central is an exporter to europe and africa. Maybe they can export to canada with their license?
I have a close buddy whos business ventures have ties with bat and they have meetings with bat at shot show and hoping to be a dealer for them depending on conversations obviously.Bullet central is an exporter to europe and africa. Maybe they can export to canada with their license?

I’m curious about this reply. I’ve got Falkor 7Even action. I have misfires time to time, too many actually. Light primer strikes. If I take the bolt apart and clean it up real real good it seems to help some, but after a 100 rounds or so I start having misfires again. Falkor has been great to work with, I just need to send my bolt to them to trouble shoot it. I’m wondering if I should go with a stouter spring or see if they can replace the aluminum shank with a heavier steel one. I know one thing, common place misfires are a no go.Ha! Ha! Had the same thought. I had to google it!
Firing pin material (alu shank) and spring weight (20lb) are suspect. I’m sure it’ll fire but it might not be not a great combo IMO.
IMO it likely needs at least 22lbs of spring and probably more (static assembled) and the weight of a full steel pin. Do you know how much pin fall you have currently? I'd be looking for .240-.250" min of pin fall.I’m wondering if I should go with a stouter spring or see if they can replace the aluminum shank with a heavier steel one.
I don’t know how to measure that unfortunately. I’m gonna send it to them and let them sort it out I guess. Hate doing that though.IMO it likely needs at least 22lbs of spring and probably more (static assembled) and the weight of a full steel pin. Do you know how much pin fall you have currently?
