F-TR Chamber

I order 2 F-TR Reamers from PTG which Dave design for each purpose


• No Nk-turned for Lapua Brass , Mag Box , 175 gr. projectiles.

.342 nk , fb .088" , 1-30


• No Nk-turned for Lapua Brass , Single Shot , 175 - 185 gr. projectiles.

.342 nk , fb .168" , 1.30



But as I check with German Salazar, he mention that the Single Shot freebore was too much. For 185 gr. projectiles, 0.114" would be enough.


Any idea for the Single Shot Reamer? Because My brother only test chamber with the .088" freebore.

Here is the 10 shots group @ 200 yards

The main projectiles would be

Berger 175 LRBT @ 600 Yards
Berger 185 LRBT , Hybrid @ 800 Yards

I just had an F/TR rifle built with the single shot reamer and have had no problems with the 185 hybrids so far

.168" FB as my Single Shot F-TR Reamer?


Have you measure COAL & BOG of seat these projectiles to just touch the land?
