168 Hybrid VS 175 LRBT

Last season, I shooting with these load.

Berger 185 LRBT , MV 2,590 fps , SD 3.4

Rifle ; Les Baer Tactical Recon 24" Bull Barrel with 1:10 tw

Chamber is .343"nk , .098 fb , 1-30

But just wonder about there is no supplier who available 185 LRBT for competition. So, which projectiles should I substitute for competition 800 yards?

Berger 168 Hybrid
Berger 175 LRBT
Berger 185 Hybrid

I use all of them with great success!

The LRBT is one of the best competition bullets.

I find Hybrids shoot almost just as good.

In my particular rifle the hybrids shoot better, try em both if you can find em and see what your rifle likes. Both great bullets.

Last season,

I had test 175 LRBT with a good outcome.

MV 2,700 fps
SD 6



But 185 LRBT is better data.

MV 2,590 fps
SD 3.4



So, I choose 185 LRBT for competition and those 175 LRBT for secondary choice.


Just seem many folks suggest that 185 Hybrid have a better BC than both and 168 Hybrid also has a better BC than 175 LRBT.
