Anyone have an equipment list for F open?
Like to see if the 284 is still a favorite for them.
Tim Vaught repeated with another awesome mid-range championship and his 300wsm.....7 years in a row for that cartridge to dominate mid-range. Shehane was second.

For long range 1-Pat,2-Keith,3-Tod were straight 284's...Eric was Shehane, Timmy was 300wsm. Pat Fulghum 284, Ken Dickerman 300wsm....that's all i know for sure.

Congrats to Pat Scully for a hard fought win!!! Hard work pays off!!

Congrats to my awesome teammate Keith Glasscock for his 2nd Silver medal in as many years. That is super strong and nothing to hang your head about. WE ARE PROUD OF YOU!!!!

If anyone doesn't think x's matter, keep shooting less of them please. :) :)

Congratulations Pat and Ian! And to all attendees.
It sounds like it was an incredibly challenging event.
Look forward to seeing you back up here in Canada once
the crazy time ends.
Best Regards

Another comment about the conditions. There were about 80 shooters in the field who hold an NRA High Master Classification. There were a grand total of Zero HM scores (98.5% or 1576) in the final results.

If you look way down at the bottom in the EXpert results, you'll see the high Expert shot a score that would have gotten 12th High Master. But the score was just barely a Master score (97%-1552). (Some of you may recognize who that shooter is. ) So many High Masters were unable to shoot even a Master score in these conditions.

For Long range, HM scores are above 98%. So there were indeed some HM scores shot.

Anything at or above 1568 (98% of 1600) would be a HM score for grand aggregate, but several individual matches had many HM scores

For the grand agg...
Fopen - 4 shooters
FTR - no shooters

Thanks. I kept getting conflicting answers on that and even tried to figure it out in the rules. So there were 4 HM scores shot. --Jerry

First ; I would like to congratulate all of the winners , and those who placed in some of the most grueling conditions I have ever seen . This was my first F class Nationals , and I was extremely excited to have the opportunity to get to shoot with , and learn from , literally , the best in the world . If anyone out there thinks the comments regarding the conditions were over-stated , I can assure you , they were not . After the 1st relay of Mid-Range , on my Home Range , I felt embarrassed and nearly humiliated when I had to sign my card with one of the worst scores I had ever posted . As I began talking with other competitors , the realization came across , that I was but one of many that morning . And those who had the skill and knowledge to over-come , and avoid the train-wrecks deserve the accolades they are receiving . You really had to be here to grasp how brutal it really was .

Congrats to everyone who shot well and the winners of individuals and team matches. Glad to see you guys had a good match. Sounds like the conditions were challenging. Good shooting guys.
