The 2022 NRA F-Class National Championships concluded on Sunday, October 23rd after 8 days of competition. Held at the Ben Avery range in Arizona, the F-Class Nationals were popular this year. There was a good turn-out for both the 600-yard Mid-Range event and the 1000-yard Long-Range competition.

22 Nats in the books, New names in top 20! John Stewart, my friend and team mate was a threat from the get go. He finished 7th in Open but was a threat to take it all until the very end. My other team mate Thomas B. Took Master class and 17 overall, he has never shot a competitive Open match ever. Thanks to our mentor Damon Martin, the Chambering Guro west of the Rio Grande maybe even the Mississippi!! Ben.Avery did not disappoint, heard many an oh sheet, damit even the Fn word LOL. Southern California, specifically Diego-Town shooters are here to Stay. Now if I can get my crap in one sock. Thanks to all the range officers and help they were outstanding, as usual. See you all at the Southwest.

At the Mid range awards dinner Mid Thompkins made an announcement, he said some of you are going to like this and some of you are not, but the 2023 US NRA F Class Nats are going to be held at Ben Avery again next year, same week as this year.

Go ahead ! Just ruin my day . The only down side to having another "Home Gamr" is the Fifty mile round trip through Phoenix rush hour morons every day . And I should be used to it , but who ever gets used to idiocy ?

I can't say exactly which magnums they all used however I'm pretty sure 8 of the top 10 Open shooters were using magnums (300wsm, 6.5pcs/7mm or 7Saum).
