We are not only not shooting, but not even watching. Yet just as the smiling wears off from one report, another one gets posted. I’m rooting for our friends but the winner is going to be the “wind”. Once in a decade it’s a 338 LM day.

That wind must be something. I've never seen scores like that at a 600 yard match with this level of talent.

2015 Berger SW Nationals was won by Eric Cortina with a 589-18...
I was relatively new to the F Class game. My scorer on one of the matches was an kinda a gruff stocky deep voice Lapua team guy; his advice "Tim when there's 4 ripples in the flag don't shoot..."

From the conditions being relayed in near real time it sounded like it was very much like shooting at Rattlesnake. Wind gusts that knock you back, rapid changes in velocity and direction and sand in the eyes. The thought of Todd dropping ten points in that first string is something hard to imagine. He recovered nicely though.

The only time I really stress is when I call wind for the team. Pressing the trigger is cathartic for me.

Quit rubbing it in or I will start wishing bad things for you. Like being squadded with Warren, or having your mirage shield on crooked.
