My wife has always said I have some kind of obsessive compulsive disorder which should help me out in this case. ;)

That's exactly right. Tony Boyers book has a explanation of 4 types of personality and attitude towards competition. It is a interesting observation by a very successful shooter. I have read Musashi several times and he will show you how to dig deep within yourself by example of his training techniques. Your observations of yourself are important. You need to find your formula to gain ground.

Musashi apparently never bathed which might account for some of his success with swords.

I know a few guys that have tried that, it didn't work for them. They only out shot the down wind side of the line. Musashi's success came from his study of what he was up against. If you read his 5th chapter (the void) his approach was with what the opposition has no defense against.

I'm tempted to read The Wind Book instead, when I'm on the Ground looking through my scope, I sometimes feel I'm staring into the Void.

A few years ago I started asking every successful shooter I ran into a question ( What do YOU feel is most important?). I got alot of information from this but what got my attention was that many of them answered by pointing to their head. Devotion to the project.

Tony , I sent a barrel and a Bowman stock of to Mark to be chambered for an F/tr rig ! I have to try it!
And Eric it was 600 yards at New Holland.

I heard something like that without the details. It is pretty impressive to see what a top F-T/R shooter like Chris can do with a 308 off a bipod even under very tough conditions.
