F-class gunsmith that works on Savages

Well Other than Fred over at Sharp shooter Supply who does Long Range F-class rifles and can get the most out of my Savage SA single shot action.

I am either going with A master class or McMillan stock a Pac-nor barrel hopefully 1.25 straight tube and no barrel nut.

I want a rifle that will ride the bags since everyone cheats in F-class and uses belly br set-ups.

A second vote for Mr. Racine. He built a 308 Palma/F-Class Savage for me and his work is first rate!!!!! He sells a ready to go 12BVSS converted to Palma for $1850 w/o sights which is a good buy for a new Palma rifle with Krieger barrel.

Go with him as he has the experience and references. I just love my Savage after he completed it. Might get him to also put provisions for iron sights on it,turned muzzle and sight base on receiver) when he builds it so you have the option of Palma should you decide to go that direction in the future - I did and now I can shoot both classes.

The laminated BVSS stock with bedidng and pillars, vented forearm, and adjustable comb is great. You might want to try this stock and save your $$$ for other "necessary" items such as bullets, cases, and scopes.

I have that stock or similar stock on a 112 BT, bought the stock from Numrich...wish I would have gotten more.

I also need a heavier stock as the barrel will make the stock want to tip forward.
