As a overly broad brush statement, I think we put way too much stock in brands/models and not enough in practice/experience.

I think @ryanjay11 nailed it. Doesn't matter if you're running a bat action or a savage, if you miss a wind switch your screwed. People need to stop worrying so much about what the top guys use, "cause we all know that's the only components that will win. " Find something that works for you, go out and do your own testing, and shoot. And when you think you've got it figured out, shoot some more.

Personally I don’t think many if any of the guys serious about FCLASS are actually ‘Worried” about what the top guys are using just interested, specially ones that live half way round the globe. I appreciate as stated previously that it’s a pain in the backside and time consuming putting an equipment list together and I appreciate it immensely when the time is taken to put one together..but if there isn’t one for a match it’s not the end of the world.
