In the past there has been some misunderstanding as to the use of the 7-second rule when using electronic targets in F-Class competition during team matches and when shooting Bisley style in Fullbore competition.
In order to add clarity to the existing rule, the NRA Board of Directors, at the request of the F-Class committee and with the concurrance of the Competition Rules and Programs committee, recently amended the existing rule. The amendment states that the 7-second rule does not apply to team matches or to matches such as Fullbore where coompetitors are shooting Bisley Style with two or three competitors firing alternately on the same target.
I hope this helps to clarify the existing rule.
